Brad Mason
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Mason became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Orthofix in 2013. He had previously served Orthofix from 2003 to 2010 in roles of increasing responsibility, including Group President of North America. Mr. Mason joined the Company upon the acquisition of Breg, Inc., which he founded in 1989 and built through rapid product innovation and by maximizing distribution capabilities. In addition, he was dj Orthopedics’ (formally DonJoy, Inc.) first head of Manufacturing Operations and Product Design, where his efforts resulted in hundreds of new and innovative products during his tenure. Mr. Mason is also the named inventor on 38 issued patents in the orthopedic product arena.
Emily Buxton
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Buxton joined Orthofix’s corporate finance group in 2003 as a Senior SEC and Consolidations Accountant. After advancing to the position of Vice President, Controller, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Global Orthopedics for Orthofix from 2010 to the time of her appointment as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Orthofix, Ms. Buxton worked for two large public companies in Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and prior to that she worked in public accounting. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting from Columbia College in Columbia, SC.
Brian McCollum
President, Global Spine Business Unit
Mr. McCollum was named President of the Global Spine Business Unit in 2012, after having served as Chief Financial Officer in 2011. He joined Orthofix’s corporate finance group in 2001 advancing to the position of Corporate Controller. In 2006 Mr. McCollum was named Vice President of Finance, Americas, and 2 years later became Vice President of International Finance and Group Treasurer. Prior to joining Orthofix, Mr. McCollum was a Senior Audit Associate with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Accounting, from St. Andrews Presbyterian College.
Michael Finegan
Senior Vice President, Business Development, and President, Biologics
Michael M. Finegan joined Orthofix as Vice President of Corporate Development in 2006. In 2009, he assumed additional responsibilities as the President of Biologics. Mr. Finegan came to Orthofix from the Boston Scientific Corporation, where he held several positions, with the most recent as Vice President of Corporate Sales. Mr. Finegan began his career in banking with First Union (Wachovia). He graduated from Wake Forest University in 1985 with a B.A. in Economics.

Jeffrey M. Schumm
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Mr. Schumm joined Orthofix as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in January 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Schumm served as Vice President and General Counsel for Regeneration Technologies, Inc. Earlier in his career, clerked at the Supreme Court of Florida and later served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida. Mr. Schumm also practiced commercial litigation and transactional work with the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP in Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Schumm received his BSEE and MBA degrees from Lehigh University, and he graduated magna cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
